• 08:30 – Boat trip in Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on land.” Cruise along the Ngo Dong River through three natural caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba). Enjoy views of rice fields (most beautiful in May–June & Sept–Oct) and towering limestone peaks.
• 11:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant.
• 13:00 – Visit Bich Dong Pagoda, known as the “Second Most Beautiful Cave in Vietnam.” This ancient pagoda is built into the mountainside with three levels (Lower, Middle, Upper Pagoda), offering both spiritual atmosphere and panoramic views.
• 15:00 – Climb Mua Cave (Hang Mua) with nearly 500 stone steps leading to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views over Tam Coc valley and rice fields.

DAY 3: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK – PREHISTORIC MAN CAVE

• 13:30 – Boat trip in Van Long Nature Reserve, the largest wetland nature reserve in Northern Vietnam. Glide through calm waters reflecting limestone mountains. This is home to rare birds and the endangered Delacour’s langur.
